Tech Club
Technology Club allows students to learn to use the modern tools that will increase the quality of their academic efforts. In Tech Club, students learn how to edit pictures using web-based tools from sites like BeFunky, PicMonkey, and BigHugeLabs. They also learn how to generate shareable presentations using Animoto, how to screencast using Screencast-o-Matic, and how to create their own comic strip using MakeBeliefsComix.
Additionally, they are given free reign of a variety of silly online tools like BeYourWildSelf where they can generate an animal version of themselves, and Voki where they can create their very own talking avatar.
This club is open to P.E.S. students in grades 4-6, and meets every Monday from 3:15 - 4:15.
